Come be in the
Pavement Cover Posse!

Hey everybody!

We got asked to play another show on Friday, Sept. 23 as PCP!

For those of you who don't know, Pavement Cover Posse strives to recruit as many members as possible for each show. I call on every last one of you to come to Little Kings in Downtown Athens to join us.

Bring an instrument (keeping in mind that you probably can't plug it in!)... acoustic guitars, trumpets, recorders, pennywhistles, clarinets, tambourines, woodblocks, bongos, congas, box and stick, whatever. Percussion is especially good because you don't have to know how to play Pavement songs. At very least, bring your voice.

But you know how to play Pavement songs. You already know, as least as well as Pavement does. Get into the spirit of Pavement!

Below are some Pavement songs with the chords written out (more or less...again, it's Pavement, and more than that, Pavement Cover Posse). We might not play all the songs, and we might play some songs besides these. I'm pretty sure this is just the list of songs we did last time. Anyway, it's a start.

Rehearsal takes place when you listen to Pavement records and/or have been listening to Pavement and love them, and just know their songs.

The dream of PCP is to eventually have everyone in the room rocking out Pavement songs. That is going to be fucking awesome.
